What You’ll Do

  • Program, set up, and operate CMM equipment to inspect production and first article parts.
  • Create and modify CMM inspection programs using appropriate software.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Record and analyze inspection results and communicate findings to production and engineering.
  • Identify nonconforming product and assist in root cause investigations.
  • Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators.
  • Maintain calibration awareness and proper care of inspection equipment.
  • Work closely with CNC machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to improve processes and
  • Maintain accurate inspection documentation and quality records.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of CMM programming and operating experience preferred.
  • Previous CNC machining or CNC machine shop experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic computer skills and experience documenting inspection results.

Pay Range

A reasonable estimate of the hourly pay range for this role is $25 – $35 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
