What You’ll Do

• Hang and rack parts for powder coating
• Perform proper surface preparation (cleaning, masking, inspection)
• Apply powder coating using spray equipment
• Monitor oven temperatures and curing cycles
• Inspect finished parts for coverage, thickness, and cosmetic quality
• Perform touch-ups and rework when necessary
• Maintain clean spray booth and work area (5S standards)
• Follow all PPE and safety requirements

What You Bring

• Prepare parts for coating, including cleaning, masking, and racking

• Apply powder coat using spray equipment to achieve proper coverage and finish

• Load and unload parts from racks, conveyors, or curing ovens

• Monitor curing process and ensure proper oven temperatures and cycle times

• Inspect finished parts for quality, coverage, and defects (runs, thin spots, etc.)

• Perform basic touch-ups or rework as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and PPE

Education & Experience

• Previous experience in powder coating, painting, or manufacturing preferred

• Ability to work with hands and perform repetitive tasks

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move parts as needed

Pay Range

A reasonable estimate of the salary pay range for this role is $18- $20 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
