What You’ll Do            

  • Load and rack parts according to job travelers, diagrams, and part-protection guidelines.
  • Unload and unrack coated parts safely while preventing surface damage.
  • Assist with moving parts through wash, dry-off, and curing stages.
  • Support steady line flow to maintain consistent production throughput.
  • Stage parts for Maskers and assist with prep readiness.
  • Perform basic cleaning or surface checks before parts move down the line.
  • Handle parts using protective methods to avoid cosmetic damage.
  • Set up fixtures, hooks, carts, and hardware required for each job.
  • Perform pre- and post-coating visual inspections for: Coverage, Overspray, Masking accuracy, Scratches, dents, and cosmetic defects
  • Communicate defects or concerns immediately to Quality or the Team Lead.
  • Verify parts meet customer and internal quality requirements before advancing.

What you Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in powder coating, painting, manufacturing, or assembly is a plus—but not required (training provided).
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and labels.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on part protection and quality.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Physical Requirements

  • Manufacturing environment within powder coating operations.
  • Exposure to powder dust, heat, humidity, noise, and moving equipment.
  • PPE required in designated areas at all times.
  • Frequent standing, bending, reaching, walking, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Pay Range

A reasonable estimate of the hourly pay range for this role is $18- $20 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
