What You’ll Do

  • Operate CNC machines according to work orders, blueprints, and documented instructions.
  • Load raw materials, secure parts properly, and verify correct tooling before starting production.
  • Monitor machine operations and perform in-process checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Document production activity, measurements, and part counts in the ERP system.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to confirm part dimensions.
  • Follow established quality procedures and maintain consistency from part to part.
  • Identify and report nonconforming parts or equipment concerns immediately.
  • Perform basic machine upkeep, including chip removal, coolant monitoring, and wipe downs.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Follow all PPE and safety protocols.
  • Communicate with Setup Technicians, Leads, and Supervisors on machine performance or production issues.
  • Participate in required training sessions, shift meetings, and improvement activities.
  • Meet or exceed production goals for quality, cycle time, and throughput.

What You Bring

  • Basic mechanical aptitude or machining knowledge.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and a teamwork-focused attitude.

Pay Range

A reasonable estimate of the hourly pay range for this role is $18 – $20 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
