What You’ll Do

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, variance analysis, and executive-level reporting.
  • Ensure accurate revenue, cost, and expense recognition in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
  • Maintain alignment with Patrick Industries’ financial reporting standards and deadlines.
  • Develop annual budgets and ongoing rolling forecasts in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Monitor budget performance, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide financial modeling and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
  • Oversee cost accounting processes including labor, overhead, materials, and production costs.
  • Analyze production variances, scrap, inventory levels, absorption, and job costing.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to enhance cost efficiency and financial performance.
  • Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, and audit documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and corporate financial requirements.
  • Lead audit preparation and support internal and external audit activities.
  • Monitor cash flow, capital expenditures, and working capital needs.
  • Oversee balance sheet accounts, reconciliations, and fixed asset reporting.
  • Support risk mitigation and financial protections related to inventory, equipment, and operational spending.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members.
  • Work closely with HR, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and Corporate Finance to support company objectives.
  • Provide financial insights to leadership to support planning, investments, and operational decisions.
  • Ensure accuracy and optimization of ERP financial modules (Global Shop / corporate systems).
  • Evaluate and improve financial processes for greater accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
  • Support digital transformation and data analytics initiatives within the finance function.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive financial/accounting experience; manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with cost accounting, GAAP compliance, and ERP systems.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing financials, absorption costing, and inventory accounting.
  • Advanced analytical, modeling, and forecasting skills.
  • High proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to influence leadership and support strategic decision-making.
  • Exceptional attention to financial accuracy and detail.

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based with movement throughout the facility as needed.
  • Occasional presence on the production floor; PPE required in designated areas.

Pay Range

A reasonable estimate of the salary pay range for this role is $115,000- $130,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
