Geremarie

About Us

Geremarie is a modern, technology-driven manufacturer where advanced automation and skilled craftsmanship work side by side. From our vertically integrated facility in Lake Zurich, IL, we engineer and machine complex aluminum components for leading marine and recreation brands—delivering tight tolerances, fast turnaround, and consistent quality.

As a division of Patrick Industries, we’re connected to a wider manufacturing community that values quality, innovation, and forward-thinking operations. This alignment strengthens our commitment to improving our technology, refining our processes, and supporting the people who drive our work every day.

If you’re someone who shows up, takes ownership, and isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, this is the place you’ll grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop tooling, workholding, and fixture solutions that improve part quality, repeatability, and cycle time.
  • Partner with CNC Operators and Setup Technicians to validate programs and support smooth production launches.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and implement data-driven improvements to enhance stability and throughput.
  • Design, develop, and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain high product quality.
  • Conduct time studies, capability analysis, and capacity modeling to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools, fixtures, automation, and manufacturing technologies.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, setup sheets, machining parameters, SOPs, and process flow diagrams.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and updated as processes evolve.
  • Lead manufacturing readiness activities for new product transitions.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and consistency.
  • Participate in prototype machining, trial builds, pilot runs, and process validation.
  • Lead investigations into machining or production issues using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce scrap, downtime, and variation.
  • Use data, SPC, and on-floor observation to strengthen machining repeatability and process reliability.
  • Provide technical support and training on new processes, programming updates, and tooling changes.
  • Track and analyze KPIs such as cycle time, scrap, tool life, downtime, and throughput to guide improvement priorities.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote safe practices and ergonomic improvements throughout production areas.
