What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage the daily/weekly master production schedule across all departments.
- Balance demand, capacity, labor, materials, and shop constraints into an executable plan.
- Maintain scheduling discipline by ensuring teams work on the highest-priority jobs.
- Adjust schedules as needed due to downtime, shortages, quality holds, or engineering changes.
- Track progress, resolve bottlenecks, and escalate risks to protect delivery commitments.
- Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to align priorities and ensure job readiness.
- Communicate schedule changes, constraints, and execution priorities to plant stakeholders.
- Support daily production meetings with status updates and action-driven follow-up.
- Provide Customer Service with accurate lead times, order status, and delivery risk updates.
- Coordinate with Shipping & Receiving to support on-time outbound shipments.
- Maintain accurate scheduling data in ERP (Global Shop preferred).
- Validate work orders through BOMs, routings, run times, and material requirements.
- Support improvements in inventory accuracy, WIP control, and schedule adherence metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, throughput, and planning stability.
- Support Lean initiatives and standard work documentation for scheduling processes.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or production control.
- Manufacturing experience required; machining or fabrication preferred.
- ERP experience required; Global Shop a plus.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing flow, lead times, and capacity planning.
- Ability to interpret work orders, BOMs, routings, and drawings.
- Strong ownership, organization, and ability to drive accountability across teams.
- Proficient in Excel and planning tools; adaptable in fast-paced environments.

Pay Range
A reasonable estimate of the salary pay range for this role is $70,000- $90,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
